Rewinding my life – Why would I do this?

Time of my life it was my biggest dream to visit Japan one day and I never thought I would be flying to Japan twice within six months and spend almost five weeks there. These days, flying to Japan seems not only much more realistic, but The choice to make. So, how did I get there?

As for most things there was not only one reason for Japan to be my country of dreams. In fact, there were some factors and I want to make something like a series of entries called “Rewinding my life”. These entries are something I wanted to make since I started to write and I hope you might find something you can use for yourself, too. There will be some interesting facts about how I began to love Japan. At the time given, one might think “how typical” but more I hope you will say “I never thought about it this way”.

Many of us have a hobby, a country, a job or other dream they pursue (or not) and can’t get it ouf of their minds. It’s just too strong. Have we analyzed why it is like that? Why does Pete love trains and Mary butterflies? Just because of the look? Is it because of memories they connect with them?

Maybe my story will be the starting spark that might even make you aware why you are after your dream. Is this the reason why I want to write about my life and share some memories that might make you think I’m a weird fella? Actually sort of. Rewinding my stories will tell my mind why I developed such a strong feeling towards Japan even before I fell in love with that special Japanese woman. Moreover it will give me the possibility to revive great memories and find new ways to approach that dream to go to Japan again as soon as I can; by realizing what I love I can use my free time more efficiently to strengthen my feelings and gain momentum in order to make my dream come true sooner than later.

Please share with me your story how you started to be interested in Japan or anything in particular. Write it as a comment, e-mail or if you want as a guest entry.

Looking forward to start to share my story,

Andrés
